Fall Creek 100 takes a tour of Fall Creek Falls, one of the biggest and most visited parks in Tennessee. All distances take a suspension bridges over Cane Creek and Piney Creek, skirt right by the overlook for the 256-foot namesake of the park (spoiler: it's a waterfall), run right along the shoreline of Fall Creek Falls Lake and go over to Millikan’s Overlook.
It's a really wonderful park that's a lot of fun to run in. Pine forest; mossy, fern-lined tracks running along creeks; bridges; gentle, chill trail...it's really cool. We've included as much as we can on the course.
Course
2023 Course was rerouted due to damaged trails in the park. 2024 Course will return to almost zero pavement!
Mild course with a lot less rocks and roots than is typical for the area. Leafy but mostly smooth underneath. Overall, it's a really chill and gentle park that runs pretty fast for a trail race.
Following a tornado in August, the 2023 course will be an out and back where every distance gets to see Fall Creek Falls Lake, Piney Creek Falls suspension bridge, Millikan’s Overlook, Cane Creek Falls and the Cane Creek Falls suspension bridge.
Cutoffs
33 and 50 runners have no on-course cutoffs, only official finish time limits.
